This dynamic panel will discuss navigating through the challenges of fostering belonging and civility during times of economic and political changes.

  • What role do you think leaders play in promoting belonging and civility during change?
  • What common barriers have you seen to belonging and civility during change, and how do you address them?
  • What methods have you used to keep people feeling included during organizational and policy changes? How did you know these methods were effective?
  • Can you describe a time when you managed workplace conflict while promoting respect and inclusion? What did you learn from that experience?
  • How do you ensure communication during change supports belonging and respect?

Dr. Vijay Pendakur, Ayeshia Toy, and Janifer Wheeler will discuss challenges and opportunities for HR leaders to foster belonging in their organizations. Methodologies, processes, challenges and successes will also be discussed from the vantage point of different industries and size companies.
