JANUARY 15TH-  Martin Luther King Jr. Day (MLK) 

Austin SHRM encourages you to reflect on MLK  principles around racial equality and nonviolent social change by being actively involved within your communities. Here are some ways you can celebrate MLK by:
 

1. Educating yourself - read some of King’s books 
2. Do some good in your community by just volunteering  
3. Be creative, use Mr. King’s message on acceptance and injustice by writing, painting, creating music, use the message as your springboard to let the message shine against hate.
4. Take an informative tour just click on the National Civil Right Museum
