Don Gleason knew he wanted to be an environmental engineer in 5th grade, after the first Earth Day. Graduating from the Univ of Wisconsin – Madison in 1982 with a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering, during a recession, he opted to gain experience in the US Air Force. Four years turned to 27-yrs, and after leading the programming of 3200 projects totaling $12.8B to reconstruct Iraq, four command tours and time at the Pentagon he retired in 2009. He then joined Booz Allen Hamilton as a Management Consultant, before starting his own Leadership Training and Coaching company in 2017. Today he is a career transition coach, helping military, spouses and veterans get the career that energizes them. He has been married to Karen for 43 years. They have 3 adult children and two grandchildren. They love to camp, hike, birdwatch and attend Detroit Tigers games.

Reservation/Cancellation Policy
Registrations must be received before close of business on the Monday prior to the event so that we may turn in a headcount. Onsite registrations are accepted at the door on a first-come, first-served basis. If you can't make the event, please let us know 72 hours beforehand by sending an email to support@austinshrm.org, so that we can cancel your registration. Please note, refunds will not be issued after the 72 hour mark as we pay the venue based on the number of attendees reserved - including no-shows.
