The presentation will cover how to better understand accessibility, the legal framework surrounding accessibility in employment (ADA), barriers in the employment process and addressing unconscious bias. Brian Hayes will also touch on accommodations and onboarding and workplace accessibility.

Images and videos may be used on the Austin SHRM website, social media and for other purposes. Attendees waive, release and forever discharge Austin SHRM from and against claims or actions arising out of or resulting from any use of attendee’s image.
Reservation/Cancellation Policy
Registrations must be received before close of business on the Monday prior to the event so that we may turn in a headcount. Onsite registrations are accepted at the door on a first-come, first-served basis. If you can't make the event, please let us know 72 hours beforehand by sending an email to support@austinshrm.org, so that we can cancel your registration and issue a credit to your account. Please note, credits will not be issued after the 72-hour mark as we pay the venue based on the number of attendees reserved - including no-shows.
